My Success Story

I joined Vephla Uni in May 2023, and from the very first class, I knew I was in the right place. My initial classes were eye-opening, filled with a blend of knowledge, inspiration, and practical skills that felt exactly like what I had been looking for. I remember sitting through those early sessions, feeling energized and motivated by the depth of material and the dedication of the faculty. It didn’t take long for me to make a promise to myself—I would not miss a single class. One of the biggest influences in this journey was my mentor, Dr. Michael Ajala. From the very start, he stood out to me not just as a teacher, but as a true inspiration. Dr. Ajala has a unique way of connecting with his students and of seeing potential in each of us that we might not even see in ourselves. He instilled in me a drive to aim higher and push myself beyond my own expectations. His passion for teaching and for our success created an environment where learning was not only productive but also deeply rewarding.

As the coursework continued, I found that each class brought something new, something challenging, and something valuable. I came to understand the dynamics of the tech industry and gained insights that went beyond textbooks. It was both humbling and inspiring to meet these personalities, and it reinforced my desire to carve my own path in the industry.

By the time I started going to interviews, I felt ready. The interview meetings themselves were almost seamless because so much of what I faced was already familiar to me—these were things Dr. Ajala had carefully reviewed and drilled with us. Thanks to this preparation, I felt at ease, able to show up as my authentic self and showcase what I’d learned.
And then, the moment I’d been working toward finally arrived. Upon completing the program, I received an offer for a role that aligns with my career goals, allowing me to put my newfound skills to use in a meaningful way. I feel immense pride and gratitude as I look back on this journey. I am proud to be one of Vephla Uni’s graduating students, and I carry forward not only the knowledge I’ve gained but also the confidence to succeed in the tech industry.
