When I started my journey in Data Analytics at Vephla Uni, I was excited but also filled with self-doubt. I had always struggled with discipline, and procrastination was one of my biggest weaknesses. However, everything began to change from the very first day. The structure of Vephla's programme and the unwavering guidance of my mentor completely transformed the way I approached learning and personal growth.
The deadlines, constant projects, and my mentor's high expectations taught me that discipline isn't a talent—it's a habit you build every single day.
From the beginning, every assignment had a purpose. Each project built on the previous one, introducing new concepts while reinforcing existing skills. There was never an "easy week." We moved from data cleaning and transformation to visualization, reporting, and analytics projects that demanded precision, consistency, and accountability. My mentor gave us no room for excuses, expecting every task to be completed on time and to a professional standard.
Looking back, that rigorous structure became the greatest gift. Every project pushed me further outside my comfort zone, helping me replace procrastination with discipline and consistency. A friend who had completed the programme before me had warned me that Vephla's curriculum was intense, but also one of the most effective ways to prepare for a career in tech. She was absolutely right.
By the time I graduated, I had become a completely different person. I had developed the habit of meeting deadlines, solving real-world data problems, and approaching every task with confidence. Just two months after completing the programme, I secured my first role as a Data Analytics Intern, where I'm now applying everything I learned—from working with R and SQL to creating dashboards and presenting meaningful business insights.
I will always be grateful to my mentor and everyone at Vephla University who helped build such a demanding yet rewarding learning experience. My mentor's no-nonsense approach pushed me beyond my limits, teaching me discipline, resilience, and excellence. Vephla didn't just prepare me for a job—it transformed my mindset and equipped me for a successful career in Data Analytics.
