This past year has truly been a whirlwind for me, filled with unexpected challenges, moments of doubt, and, thankfully, renewed clarity. I had the incredible experience of studying in Vephla University's Cohort 7C, but unfortunately, it wasn't a smooth journey. Early in the year, I fell seriously ill and was unable to attend classes for almost two months. Those weeks were difficult—not only was I trying to recover physically, but the feeling of falling behind made it seem like my dreams were slipping further away.
My mentor reminded me that setbacks don't define your future. His encouragement gave me the confidence to keep moving forward, even when I felt I wasn't ready.
After recovering two months ago, many people encouraged me to focus entirely on preparing for my ICAN examinations. Instead, I reached out to my mentor, Dev Richard, whose guidance had always inspired me. He listened to everything I had gone through and immediately helped me get back on track by personally guiding me through the lessons I had missed and reminding me to stay focused on the bigger picture.
One of the things I appreciate most about Vephla University is that every class is recorded. I was able to download the missed lectures, revisit every lesson, practice consistently, and keep my mentor updated on my progress. Slowly but surely, I regained my confidence and caught up with my cohort.
Following my mentor's advice, I took a leap of faith and started applying for jobs, even though I didn't feel completely ready. To my surprise, I secured two interviews almost immediately. Thanks to the practical skills, interview preparation, and confidence I had gained through Vephla, I performed well in both interviews and successfully passed them.
This experience completely changed my perspective. It gave me renewed clarity about my career and reminded me that sometimes the biggest opportunities come from taking bold steps. I'm deeply grateful to Dev Richard and the entire Vephla University team for their unwavering support, compassion, and commitment. Their mentorship didn't just teach me technical skills—it helped me rebuild my confidence and transform my future.
