My learning journey with Vephla has been nothing short of transformative and life-changing. Before joining Vephla, I had signed up for countless boot camps, but I never finished any of them. I'd either get too tired or lose interest along the way. But Vephla was different, and I owe a lot of that to Mentor Richard. His words of encouragement and unwavering principles pushed me to keep going, even when I doubted myself. Today, I'm in love with anything related to data and eager to keep learning and growing.
Mentor Richard constantly reminded me never to give up, and those words kept me moving until everything finally started paying off.
Recently, I was recommended to the Managing Director of the Lagos State Ferry Service for a role as a newly trained Data Analyst. During our conversation, I mentioned that I had been searching for an internship for about a year, and he was impressed by my portfolio and the projects I had consistently shared online.
Those projects, all built during my training at Vephla, demonstrated my growth, commitment, and practical experience. Sharing my work publicly became one of the biggest reasons I stood out, proving that learning is even more powerful when you build in public.
I’m beyond grateful for my mentor, Richard, who always challenged me to do more and reminded me not to quit, even when the journey felt difficult. The road wasn't always easy, but it was absolutely worth it.
Today, I'm stepping confidently into my new role as a Data Analyst, and I'm proud of how far I've come. Vephla didn't just teach me data analytics—it gave me the discipline, confidence, and resilience to build the career I'd always hoped for.
