Starting my Data Analytics journey with Vephla University in May 2023 was a big step, and to be honest, I had no idea just how much this path would change my life. Four short months later, in September, I landed my very first role as a Data Entry Analyst with WENL on a six-month contract. Seeing my classroom knowledge translate into real-world experience so quickly gave me an incredible boost of confidence.
Within one year of joining Vephla, I secured two incredible roles, including a full-time position with a U.S.-based company. It completely changed my career trajectory.
As my contract at WENL was coming to an end, I applied the career strategies taught by our mentors. I searched for opportunities through LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor, while updating my CV using the exact template provided during training. I hoped for another opportunity, but I never imagined how quickly things would unfold.
In April 2024, I received a life-changing offer for a full-time position as an Assistant Reporting Analyst with a U.S.-based digital marketing company. Within just one year of starting at Vephla, I had secured not one but two remarkable roles, including one with a prominent American organization.
The journey wasn't without challenges, but Vephla's demanding projects, assignments, and strict deadlines prepared me for the realities of the workplace. Every project strengthened my portfolio, and during interviews, I spoke with a level of confidence I never thought possible. Interviewers were genuinely impressed by the practical work I showcased, all of which had been completed throughout my training.
None of this would have been possible without the unwavering guidance of my mentor, Dev. Richard, and the encouragement of my amazing cohort members who became like family. Their support kept me motivated through every challenge, and I remain deeply grateful to God for guiding every step of this journey.
Looking back, I'm incredibly proud of how far I've come. Vephla University didn't just teach me Data Analytics—it equipped me with the confidence, practical experience, and career readiness to secure opportunities I once thought were beyond my reach. Taking that first step in May 2023 turned out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made.
